On a walk near town, I saw this apartment building under construction. When viewed from the side, toward the back, there was an interesting pattern in the receding ends of apartments. I captured the image knowing there would need to be some post processing work.
I use Adobe Lightroom Classic for most of my post processing. In Lightroom, I first converted the image to black & white (color was more of a distraction in this image).  After adjusting the tones of the image, I removed all of the construction debris and weeds and performed some other cleanup. The tree at the far end of the apartments wasn't needed, so I removed it. An artifact of the tree removal was the small, leafless tree you see on the right near the back. I left it in because it seemed to add some balance to the image. I am satisfied with the result. It captures the elements of the scene that caught my attention in the first place.
