Along the trail we saw lots of bear skat. We all had a good laugh when Mary opened her chocolate Clif Bar and it looked just like what we had seen on the trail.
Bill and Sharilyn cross one of many narrow log bridges along the trail.
This was Arch Rock – a steep, slippery descent down an opening in a large rock created by centuries of thawing and freezing.
Sharilyn and Mary survived the Arch Rock descent.
It was thundering when we left the top of the mountain and rain threatened all day. Here, at the end of the trail, about two minutes after this picture was taken, it began to rain hard. Fortunately we were only about 30 or 40 yards from the car.
